PULS FPT300.242-002-101 is a power supply unit from the FPT300 Basic 3AC series, designed to function as a field AC/DC power supply unit (PSU) / converter with an IO-Link interface output on X3 pins 1&2. It features a robust aluminium housing with dimensions of W182mm x H183mm x D59mm. The unit offers a variety of connection types including a HanQ4/2 connector for input (X1), a 5-pin M12 connector for the IO-Link interface (X2), and a HanQ4/0 connector for output (X3; pin 3 = "+", pin 4 = "-"). It operates on an IO-Link communication protocol and is equipped with protection functions such as output overvoltage protection (31.8Vdc typ. / 32.5Vdc max.), overload/short-circuit current protection, and over-temperature protection with automatic restart. The device is not suitable for series or parallel operation and has a back-feeding load resistance up to 35V 4J / 32V 2.8J. It has a rated current of 12.5A at 24Vdc and can accept a supply voltage (AC) ranging from 323Vac to 552Vac across various nominal voltages, with specific performance during the loss of 1-phase. Mounting can be achieved via hanging and fixing through integrated keyholes or by screw mounting. The unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25...+55 °C (with linear derating) to +55...+70 °C and offers a degree of protection of IP65/IP67. Designed for a 3-phase (3AC) network, it has a current consumption of 0.5A/0.42A under full output with symmetrical phases and a peak inrush of 2A. The efficiency rates are 0.952 (3x400Vac input) and 0.95 (3x480Vac input), with a rated power of 300W at operational temperatures up to +55°C, derating linearly to 150W at +70°C, and offering short-term power capabilities. The output voltage is fixed at 24Vdc with a 500mV turn-ON overshoot, and the unit provides a hold time of 25ms at 400/480Vac input. Electrical durability varies with conditions, offering up to 882000 hours of operation under certain conditions. Power dissipation/losses are noted at 15.1 W for 3x400Vac input and 15.8 W for 3x480Vac input, with an output stage capacitance of 18000 µF and a ripple of 100mVpp.
