Product description
PULS YR2.DIODE is a redundancy unit designed for dual-input redundancy module applications, featuring 2 inputs and 1 output based on diode technology with ATEX approval. It operates on a supply voltage range of 9Vdc to 60Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The unit has dimensions of W32mm x H124mm x D102mm and utilizes spring-clamp connections for connectivity. It is rated for a current of 20A at 48Vdc, with a derating to 0.5A between +60°C and +70°C. Designed for DIN rail mounting, it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. The unit has a net width of 32 mm and a peak inrush current consumption of 150A at 9-60Vdc input. It includes protection functions such as short-circuit protection with a 25A threshold at 6V and supports both series/parallel operation for 1+1 redundancy and N+1 redundancy, requiring the use of identical power supplies in parallel. The output voltage range is 12-48Vdc, with power dissipation/losses of 7.8 W for 2x5A input and 17 W for 2x10A input at 9-60Vdc. Its electrical durability is rated at 25 years or 219,000 hours at 40°C for 20A output and 2x5A/10A input, with the same durability at 25°C for 10A output. The ripple is specified as 800mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω.
