Product description
PULS QTD20.241 is a power supply unit (PSU) and DC/DC-Converter with a 25% power reserve, designed for DIN rail mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and features an intermediate DC-bus and galvanic isolation. The unit provides a rated current of 20A at 24Vdc, 17.5A at 28Vdc, and includes a 12W derating from +60°C to +70°C. Connection is facilitated through spring-clamp connections. As part of the Q-series, it measures W65mm x H124mm x D127mm and requires a supply voltage of 384Vdc to 672Vdc, with specific nominal voltages of 500Vdc, 575Vdc, and 600Vdc. The turn-ON voltage is 450Vdc, and the shutdown voltage is 325Vdc. The housing is made of aluminium, and it is designed for DC networks with a net width of 65 mm. The rated power is 480W at both 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with an adjustable output voltage of 24Vdc to 28Vdc and a 500mV turn-ON overshoot. Protection functions include output overvoltage protection, overload/short-circuit current protection, and resistance to back-feeding loads up to 34V. The unit boasts an efficiency of 0.95 at 600Vdc input, a peak current consumption of 3A, a 35s start-up delay, and rise times of 70ms and 110ms under specified conditions. The hold time is 22ms at 600Vdc input, with power dissipation/losses of 25.5W at full output load. Electrical durability is rated at various hours depending on the operating conditions, with a ripple of 100mVpp and an output stage capacitance of 950µF.
