Product description
PULS CD10.482 is a power supply unit designed for DIN rail mounting, featuring an aluminium housing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and supports a supply voltage range of 39Vdc to 57Vdc, with a nominal 48Vdc. The unit provides an adjustable output voltage of 48Vdc to 56Vdc, including a 250mV turn-ON overshoot, and offers a rated current of 6A at 48Vdc in temperatures up to 45°C, 5A up to 60°C, and 3.8A at 70°C, with a power derating from 60°C to 70°C. It features a net width of 42mm and dimensions of W42mm x H124mm x D117mm. The CD10.482 has a current consumption of 5.3A with a 48Vdc input/output at 5A, 7A with a 36Vdc input for the same output, and a peak inrush current of 10A, independent of temperature. It achieves an efficiency of 0.951 with a 48Vdc 5A input and 0.949 with a 6A input. The unit includes a 350ms start-up delay and a 50ms rise time under nominal input with a constant full current load. It offers protection against output overvoltage, short circuits with a continuous current of max. 7A, and allows for series or parallel operation for increased output power or redundancy. The power dissipation/losses are 12.4W for a 48Vdc input/output load at 5A and 6.7W at 2.5A. The output stage capacitance is 1650µF, with a ripple of 100mVpp across 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. It features screw-clamp connections, is designed with galvanic isolation, and includes reverse polarity protection.
